2017 Infiniti QX60 earns 5-Star rating in New Car Assessment Program Testing

The Infiniti QX60 – Infiniti’s best-selling crossover SUV – has a reputation for its versatility and safety. That tradition continues with the release of the 2017 QX60. Recently, the crossover was named a 5-Star Safety Rated vehicle in the NHTSA’s New Car Assessment Program, the fourth consecutive year the QX60 has won the prestigious award. more Here’s even more good news: The 2017 QX60 is coming to Sawgrass Infiniti this fall. We’re proud of Infiniti’s commitment to safety and to developing safety innovations, and the QX60 is a perfect example of that commitment. With its suite of advanced safety tech, the 2017 QX60 offers enhanced safety and driving assistance. Innovative Safety Technology in the 2017 QX60 Over the last four years, Infiniti has introduced a number of sonar- and camera-enabled systems into the entire line-up. The result is safer vehicles that help the driver see obscured obstructions around the vehicle. In addition to the 2017 QX60’s standard safety features, including a multipoint advanced airbag system and Vehicle Dynamic System and Traction Control, a number of additional features are available, including: Predictive Forward Collision Warning: The QX60’s Predictive Collision system continuously monitors the area around the vehicle, alerting drivers of obstructions out of view. The system also calculates the velocity and distance of traffic ahead and behind the vehicle. Forward Emergency Braking: If a collision is unavoidable, forward emergency braking automatically applies the brakes to reduce impact speed or avoid impact altogether. The system also alerts drivers when a risk has been detected. Moving Object Detection: This system detects pedestrian motion when the vehicle is in park or moving slowly. Several cameras from the AroundView Monitoring system are utilized, as well as single camera mounted in the front of the vehicle. AroundView Monitoring: Like a more comprehensive version of a back-up camera, the AroundView Monitor provides a birds-eye view of the vehicle, enabling driver’s to see a full 360 degrees around the vehicle on the QX60’s infotainment display. Blind Spot Warning: When a vehicle is in the QX60’s blind spot, a light is illuminated in the instruments. If the turn signal is engaged, the light starts to flash and audible warnings are sounded. Blind Spot Intervention: Infiniti was the first automaker to introduce a blind spot intervention system in vehicles. Along with the Blind Spot Warning system, this feature alerts drivers, but if a vehicle is detected in the blind spot, it will autonomously move the car back to the center of its current lane if drift is detected. Lane Departure Warning and Prevention: Both of these feature alert drivers of and prevent unintentional lane drift. The Warning system provides light and audible warnings when drift is detected. The prevention system also automatically slowly applies the brakes to help you move back into the lane. Intelligent Cruise Control: Intelligent cruise control is a truly 21st century CC system. The system monitors traffic around the QX60 and automatically adjusts outputs to maintenance safe distance. If traffic ahead slows, the system detects this and slows as well. 2017 QX60 Coming Soon to Sawgrass Infiniti The 5-star rated QX60 will arrive at our Tamarac location this fall, and there are plenty of reasons beyond its excellent safety features to consider the QX60. Infiniti QX30 Awarded Best SUV/Crossover by Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association

Are you in the market for a new crossover SUV? There is no shortage of options available to you, and many makes and models offer appealing features and bold styles. However, only one model won the award from the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA) for being the best SUV/crossover. This star car was the Infiniti QX30. To understand what an honor this is, you must learn about the prestige that belongs to the GAAMA. While the word "Atlanta" might make you think that the GAAMA only matters in the South, that isn't true. In fact, an Australian website even mentioned the honor the QX30 received at the recent Atlanta International Auto Show. There were more than 400 cars at the show, each of them under the careful scrutiny of automotive experts. The QX30 proved to be the true champion of its class. more What makes the QX30 so special? An Opulent Interior From the moment you open the door of the QX30, you'll be struck by its elegant interior design. Gorgeous asymmetric lines mesmerize the eye, and top-notch materials invite you to climb in and relax. The seats are supple Napa leather, and the dash also boasts this same luxurious material. Other surfaces feature a material called Dinamica, which mimics the look and feel of suede. Infiniti tested this material with hundreds of people to make sure it is pleasing to the touch. Four different interior color schemes are available, ranging from daring black to welcoming white. Ergonomically designed seats enhance the driving experience. A Dashing Exterior Infiniti is known for its sporty exterior designs, and the QX30 is no exception. It is big enough for your whole family and your cargo, but it still manages to call sports cars and racing to mind. The aerodynamic design, complete with exclusive 19-inch sport wheels, will leave everyone in your neighborhood jealous even before you start telling them about this crossover's other impressive features. A Sporty Performance Of course, looks alone aren't enough for a vehicle to earn an award from the GAAMA. The QX30 has a 2.0-liter turbo engine that comes with more than 200 horsepower. That, combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a drive mode selector, will make the QX30's drivers feel like they truly rule the road. Other performance-pumping features include sport suspension, nimble handling, and intelligent power steering that is more sensitive at lower speeds and less sensitive at higher speeds. Another notable aspect of the QX30's performance is its available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The AWD delivers half of the power to the rear wheels only when driving conditions require it. Otherwise, the control remains in the front wheels. This increases the vehicle's fuel efficiency while still delivering the control you need on slippery surfaces. Sophisticated Technology As you would expect from Infiniti, the QX30 comes loaded with a bushel of tech features, foremost of which is the Infiniti InTouch system, which allows you to look at emails, text messages, and your calendar — all from the vehicle's touchscreen. You can also use voice controls or the Infiniti Controller. InTouch also comes with navigation so you'll never get lost when you head out for your annual family vacation. A Bose audio system will keep you entertained even on those days when you head to Miami and have to deal with traffic that never seems to end. The QX30's technology makes the driving experience safer and smarter. Twelve sensors around the car can let you know if that parking space you're eyeing is big enough for your four-wheeled baby. The QX30 can even parallel park itself. Do you have trouble remembering to turn your high-beams off when there is oncoming traffic? The QX30 will take care of that for you. The above features are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the QX30's unbeatable technology offerings. Spoiled for Choice There are three different QX30s from which you can choose: QX30. No one would ever call an Infiniti "basic," but the regular QX30 is as basic as this luxury vehicle comes. QX30 S. The S version has a lower stance and a more aggressive fascia on both the front and back. It looks even sportier than the standard QX30. QX30 AWD. This version has Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. It sits a little higher than its counterparts and is better equipped for rural roads. The QX30 will hit dealerships later this year. When you test drive it at Sawgrass Infiniti, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

The All New Redesigned Infiniti QX30 vs. The Competition

The Infiniti QX30 towers above the competition. As a premium, active crossover, the QX30 is uncompromising with superior refinement inside and out, progressive styling, and the latest technologies you simply won't find anywhere else -- but how does it stack up? We've pitted the QX30 against other leading vehicles to prove to you why Infiniti offers the best. more Infiniti QX30 vs. Lexus NX 200t Both the QX30 and NX 200t are the first of their kind, combining innovative technology, powerful engines, and progressive design in one pleasing urban package. While the Lexus NX 200t boasts a radical exterior, its interior is quite subdued. By contrast, the Infiniti QX30 boasts a bold look inside and out, offering head-turning features such as sport exclusive wheels, muscular proportions, and an overall design that refuses to conform. Both models offer similar engines resulting in 285 lb.-ft. of torque, but the QX30 gets the advantage thanks to intuitive traction, a fuel-efficient drive mode selector, a dual clutch transmission, and a continuous rush that can unleash torque at a much broader rev range. While the price of the QX30 hasn't been set yet, there's been talk on the Australian market of having a sub-$30,000 price tag, which translates to even less in the U.S. market. The 2015 Lexus NX 200t came with a starting price of $40,450. This means that if you wait for the new QX30, you can pay less and get more. Infiniti QX30 vs. BMW X1 Another model the QX30 will undoubtedly be pitted against is the BMW X1. The X1 is the quintessential Sports Activity Vehicle in that it offers best-in-class performance, ample headroom, and an impressive amount of cargo space for its size. With that being said, the QX30 has yet to debut, but it could end up stealing all of BMW's recognitions. The BMW X1 might offer more cargo room, but with a price tag of $34,800, you'll be paying for it. The Infiniti QX30 offers state-of-the-art seat ergonomics that give your spine maximum support and reduce muscle pressure, minimizing driver fatigue. You can also refine your QX30 to reflect your personal tastes. Choose from interior finishes in gallery white leather, café teak, black leather, and natural beige, all with premium stitching and finishes. The X1 lacks this kind of personal touch and comfort. Infiniti QX30 vs. Mercedes-Benz GLA The Mercedes-Benz GLA is a mix of hatchback and small crossover that failed to deliver. The 2015 GLA was among the most disappointing luxury vehicles, garnering a below-average rating from most reviewers. These reviewers called out the GLA's deafening wind and road noise, overly firm ride quality, slow transmission response times, and limited cargo capacity, which made the GLA-Class compact crossover review a disappointing dud. By contrast, anticipation for the 2017 Infiniti QX30 has been high. Reviews have consistently touted the QX30 as being a cut above the rest, and being a similar blend of hatchback and small crossover like the GLA, that's saying something. In terms of style, however, the QX30 is radically different from the GLA -- in a good way. A faux skid plate sits below the grille, while the vehicle's front is at once sultry and aggressive, making a clear statement. When the model debuted at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, the media went into a frenzy over Infiniti's new crossover darling, which is a sure sign of things to come. QX30 Specs The best way to compare these models for yourself is with a few test drives once the QX30 comes out. For now, at least, you can view the specs on paper and make an informed decision. The QX30 boasts a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that pumps out 208 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. While it might offer less horsepower than some of its rivals, the QX30 uses that power more efficiently thanks to a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission that pre-selects gears before shifting. This is an innovative technology you won't find anywhere else, and it's something that must be experienced to be fully appreciated. The QX30 also gives you plenty of convenience features, including two USB ports, Bluetooth streaming audio, and hands-free calling. Infiniti InTouch allows you to navigate unfamiliar streets, connect to your smartphone, and listen to playlists, all at the touch of a button. The Intouch system event adjusts to your preferences, giving you a more pleasant driving experience. Don't just take our word for it. Compare the QX30 against today's top-rated luxury crossovers, and see for yourself why Infiniti's latest model stands out

The Newly Redesigned 2016 Infiniti QX50

It’s no secret that Infiniti’s QX50 sales have been lagging in recent years while the luxury crossover market in general has been booming. The QX50 manufacturer took note and redesigned the QX50 in order to make it more competitive. In essence, Infiniti intends this vehicle to be roomier, more fun to drive and, of course, safer than its predecessors and competition. more It's Bigger on the Outside and Inside The QX50 now has a coupe-like design for the exterior styling. The 2016 model incorporates a new front bumper and lower fascia, L-shaped headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a restyled grille, new side mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, updated side sills, and a new rear bumper and lower fascia. In addition, there’s a standard power sliding tinted glass moon roof with tilt feature, sliding sunshade and available roof rails. The wheelbase has been extended by 3.2 inches, bringing it to 113.4 inches total, with overall length increased by 4.5 inches to 186.8 inches total. The larger exterior translates into more legroom for the passengers. The new QX50 now has an 8.3 cubic-foot increase in interior space (115.4 cubic feet total). Most of that extra space is in the second-row seating, with legroom increasing by 4.3 inches and knee room increased by 3.9 inches, for a total of 35.3 inches and 25.5 inches respectively. That’s plenty of room for you and your buddies. The 2016 Infiniti QX60 Looks Good Inside Seating for the driver is eight-way adjustable with a memory system, while the front passenger gets four-way adjustability. To top it off, both front seats are heated as a standard feature. A power remote up-folding feature with controls in both the front and hatch area make for a quick 60/40 split of the second row. In the cabin, you’ll find the typical Infiniti instrument panel design, with high-contrast gauges, pin LED lighting mounted above the center console and the requisite analog clock. The instrument panel also features a 7-inch color display with an integrated trip computer and vehicle navigation. Rounding out the interior look are aluminum interior accents, with maple accents as an option. Premium leather-appointed seating surfaces come standard in one of three colors: Graphite, Wheat and Chestnut. Having Fun on the Go What good is a 7 inch touch screen with 3D graphics if you don’t have a few apps to play with? As with many vehicles, the 2016 QX50 comes with integrated trip computer and vehicle navigation. However, you may be surprised to find how many apps this car comes with. Email and calendar NavTraffic with real-time traffic info NavWeather with real time weather updates and three-day forecasting Facebook Of course you want everything to sound great, so the QX50 is packed with 6 speakers for the built-in AM/FM and satellite radio, MP3 player or other audio device you prefer. What makes the 2016 QX50 different from most other vehicles is the Infiniti InTouch apps become disabled during driving. This is to promote safer driving habits, particularly for drivers with limited experience. Power Under the Hood The powertrain remains largely unchanged from the previous model. The compact crossover comes standard with a 3.7-liter V-6 engine that delivers 325 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. With this engine, you’ll find you’re getting 17 MPG in the city and 24 on the highway. Pick up your phone and dial 888-696-5099 or just swing by our location at 5801 Madison Ave. in Tamarac FL so you can test drive the 2016 QX50. Infiniti Introduces 3 New Engine Options for 2016 Q50 Sports Sedan

Here’s another reason to get excited about the upcoming release of 2016 Q50 Sports Sedan. Infiniti recently announced the introduction of a trio of powerful turbo engines that will be available in the Q50 for the first time ever. New options include: 300- or 400-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 208-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder Hybrid gas-and-battery powered 3.5-liter V6 The engines all match performance and efficiency, achieving the best fuel economy while offering that same advanced sports sedan driving that has made the Q50 a favorite in the class. more The All-New V6 Available in the 2016 Q50 Infiniti is calling the new turbo-charged V6 its “most advanced” 6-cylinder yet, and the reason is simple. The 3.0-liter – which is available with two different tunes (300 or 400 horsepower) – expertly matches performance and torque with improved fuel economy. For starters, Infiniti says the new engine has improved fuel economy by about 7 percent, compared to previous versions. Plus, output has been maximized. The higher-output version delivers 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. In other words, the sedan’s power-to-efficiency ratio has been greatly improved. How? Infiniti added an updated speed sensor for the turbine and redesigned turbine blade, which enables the turbine to revolve faster. This results in enhanced power and torque. 2.0-Liter and Hybrid Powertrains Delivery Impressive Efficiency If you’re after maximum efficiency, then the Q50’s new 2.0-liter four-cylinder or the 3.0-liter hybrid V6 are the options you should consider. The turbocharged four-cylinder delivers a respectable 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and it features newly updated fuel injectors that help to maximize output. Plus, the entire engine block is new and has been completely redesigned to be lighter. Featuring a lighter aluminium block and cylinder head, as well as lighter camshafts, crankcase, and improved crank assembly, the 2.0-liter has greatly reduced friction and improved efficiency. And for even greater energy savings, the four-cylinder Q50 will be available with idle stop-start system for the first time ever. Finally, the Q50’s hybrid engine merges a 302-horsepower DOHC V6 with a small 50kW lithium-ion battery that delivers 67 horsepower. The result is a net output of 360 horsepower. In other words, this Q50 might be a hybrid, but it still delivers strong acceleration and more confident driving. One reason the drive is so easy: The battery delivers instant torque, which when combined with the V6’s output, acceleration is off the charts. It’s certainly a performance-minded hybrid. New Handling Technology and Transmissions The Q50 is getting a trio of new engines, but that’s not all. Infiniti is also releasing a range of advanced driving technology, including Direct Adaptive Steering and Dynamic Digital Suspension, as well as a 7-speed rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive transmission. Direct Adaptive Steering – which has been rebuilt from previous iterations – allows drivers to completely customize the vehicle’s steering systems. Drivers can choose response and feel levels so that the vehicle handles and drivers just like they want. Additionally, the Dynamic Digital Suspension – available for the first time – boosts the Q50’s ride comfort to the max. Finally, with the release of the new engines, Infiniti has also unveiled an all-new 7-speed electronic automatic transmission. The transmission is equipped with a range of features including Adaptive Shift Control, which selects gears based on road condition. The transmission also offers distinctive driving mode, as well as your option of rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configurations. Interested in the all-new Infiniti Q50 sports sedan? It’s coming soon to Sawgrass Infiniti. If you’d like to pre-order a custom Q50, visit our location in Tamarac, FL today or give us a call.

Brands like Infiniti and Buick have placed major bets on the tournament, using the publicity to showcase the latest models. more What is March Madness? March Madness is a springtime phenomenon that grips every sports fan's attention from the second week of March through the early days of April. The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is the highlight of all that fervor, but the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament is also included. It is during these tournaments that the national college basketball championships are crowned. Abuout the NCAA The National Collegiate Athletic Association is a nonprofit association that regulates college athletes and organizes athletic programs. Most of the NCAA's revenue comes from the Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. The NCAA, in turn, distributes that revenue back into various institutions and organizations throughout the country to support current and future athletes. Included in the NCAA are more than 1,100 colleges and universities that put academics first. NCAA athletes can pursue higher academic goals and carve out new opportunities by competing in NCAA championships. Some of them even go on to play professionally. March Madness Sponsors Sponsoring March Madness is a highly coveted position among sportswear and automotive companies, and Infiniti has managed to sponsor the event for several years now. Being a sponsor ensures prominent product placement, so there are billions of dollars at stake. For 2016, Infiniti is sponsoring the NCAA March Madness Android app, which allows you to watch every game line and choose your top picks for the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. This app even lets you experience March Madness with your friends, making it one of the most popular app downloads dedicated to this event. In addition to sponsoring the Android app, Infiniti (along with Buick) is an NCAA Corporate Partner. Being a Corporate Partner means being dedicated to promotional activities and marketing surrounding the NCAA championships. By being a Corporate Partner, Infiniti has been able to make a direct, positive impact on developmental and academic opportunities offered to NCAA student athletes. More than merely promoting a brand, it's about giving back and supporting these talented athletes. The 2016 Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge One notable way Infiniti is helping give back during March Madness is through the Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge. Fans vote on their favorite coach remaining in the competition -- at the time of this writing, those coaches are Matt Painter of Purdue University, John Beilein of the University of Michigan, Brad Underwood of Stephen F. Austin State University, and Thad Matta of Ohio State University -- and the winning coach will receive $100,000 to put toward his chosen charity. Each of the non-winning finalists will receive $15,000 to donate to the cause of their choice. What's more, each coach will get at least $1,000 to put toward his favorite cause. In total, Infiniti is giving away more than $345,000 for charity. Without having the prestige of being one of March Madness's Corporate Partners, not to mention the fervent fans voting in the competition, this type of charity work wouldn't be possible. A Rising Viewership Thanks to Mobile Apps Since Infiniti first became the official sponsor of the March Madness Live Android app in 2012, there has been a significant rise in March Madness viewership. In 2015, the app had a record-breaking 80.7 million streams, which could be broken down into 17.8 million viewing hours. For NCAA fans that would have normally missed a game, this has been a huge technological break. In addition to live streams, Infiniti has been engaging consumers through television spots, fan activities, and social media campaigns to gear them up for the tournament. During the 2015 March Madness, Infiniti's efforts paid off, as the brand saw a surge in Infiniti-related searches and social media mentions during the championship. In fact, during the 2015 event, InfinitiUSA.com saw a 300 percent increase in visitors. Unlike a one-time event, such as the Super Bowl, being a March Madness Corporate Partner means enjoying prolonged exposure that has the added benefit of reaching out to affluent and highly educated audience members who might just be in the market for a new Infiniti model like the QX50 or Q30. Last year, Infiniti advertising reached 61.7 million people. March Madness and Infiniti have a valuable relationship. Keep an eye out for the latest Infiniti mentions during this year's exciting tournament.

Your Repair is Too Expensive, Now What?

Automotive repairs can restore your vehicle to working order and ensure it doesn't develop any bigger problems. But what if you simply can't afford the repair your car needs? Being faced with unaffordable repairs is a common issue among drivers living paycheck to paycheck, but it's nice to know you have options. more Negotiate the Repairs In some cases, you may be able to negotiate with your mechanic or service center. Inquire about any available discounts to see if you can save money on the total repair costs. This may not always be possible, but it's worth a shot. You may even be able to apply for a payment plan instead of facing a lump sum payment. Shop Around Not every auto shop will hit you with the same estimate. Some mechanics charge by the hour while others provide a work-based estimate based on the extent of the damage. Getting a quote from at least three or four different places will put you in a better position to decide which one you can afford. At least one of these estimates should be from the dealership you purchased your car from, as they're the ones most likely to offer money-saving discounts. Apply for a Personal Loan While it's not ideal to rack up debt, applying for a personal loan from your local bank or credit union usually means getting a better interest rate than with credit cards. Financial institutions always see requests for unexpected expense loans, so your situation certainly wouldn't be unique. Alternatively, you could request a loan from a friend or family member, although this can be an uncomfortable situation. Regardless of which personal loan source you choose, be sure that you can realistically make the agreed upon payments, so you don't end up hurting your credit or relationships. Use a Credit Card Although you won't enjoy competitive interest rates like you would with a personal loan, using a credit card is sometimes the only option. If you already have available credit, then using your credit card to pay for automotive repairs is easy. If not, apply for a low-interest credit card and have the repair bill charged directly. This will allow you to make low monthly payments and double up on them when you come into some extra cash. Shop Around for Discount Parts If your vehicle needs a costly part, you may be able to shop around online for the parts you need. You should take into account the extra charges for state sales tax and shipping, as well as the rate your automotive technician quoted. Some auto supply websites can save you quite a bit of money on parts, but make sure the source has a good return policy prior to ordering, in case you need to send it back. Sell Some Personal Items Having your car in the shop is stressful enough without having to organize a garage sale, but sometimes this is your only option. You can quickly organize a garage sale within a week to raise the extra money you need, plus you get the added bonus of decluttering your home and purging things you don't need. If holding a garage sale isn't feasible, list some items on eBay or Craigslist. With any luck, you'll earn most of the money you need to get that repair bill paid. Barter It's always best to have your vehicle repaired by a factory-trained certified technician, but if you simply can't afford to pay for repairs, ask someone you know who's handy if they'd be interested in bartering. In general, though, this only works if you have a mechanic in the family or have a personal friend who has worked as a technician. Stress that you won't be getting the labor for free, but that you're willing to return something of value in exchange for their help. Trade in the Vehicle If you've brought your car to a dealership service center, it may be a smart idea to head outside and see which newer models they have available. Trading in your old car and acquiring a new monthly payment isn't an ideal situation, but it's often easier to manage a car payment than it is to be faced with a large lump sum repair bill. In addition, a newer model will be more reliable, so you won't have to worry about costly repairs anytime soon. Nobody likes to deal with automotive repairs, especially when they break your budget. At the end of the day, though, it's nice to know that you have options.

A Suggested Maintenance Schedule for Your Infiniti

When you maintain your Infiniti regularly, you can make sure your vehicle is at the peak of its performance. While your personal model may have specific service requirements, in general, most Infiniti owners should adhere to the following basic maintenance schedule. more Continue Reading Every 5,000 Miles or Six Months Replace your Infiniti's engine oil and filter and lubricate the propeller shaft. For most Infiniti owners, this period is also the time to have your tires rotated, with some exceptions. If you own a performance or sports model, such as the Q60 Coupe Journey with Sport Package, your car will have different tire rotation specifications. Refer to the owner's manual when in doubt. If you tend to drive in stop-and-go traffic; do much off-roading; have driven in deep sand, water, or mud; or regularly tow a trailer, you'll want to have these basic services performed every 3 months, or every 3,750 miles. However, every 5,000 miles is a good rule of thumb for most drivers. In addition, have your maintenance technician inspect the vehicle's exhaust system, brake calipers, pads, rotors, axle and suspension parts, steering gear, and steering linkage ball joints if you use your vehicle under more strenuous operating conditions like those noted above. Every 10,000 Miles or 12 Months Each year, you'll need to bring your Infiniti to your service technician for a thorough inspection. This inspection checks CVT fluid, manual transmission oil, brake lines and cables, automatic transmission fluid, differential oil, transfer case oil, drive shaft boots, and other aspects of your vehicle to make sure everything is working properly. In some cases, you may need to have your brake fluid replaced. This type of inspection will visually look for any signs of leakage. Ask your certified Infiniti technician about performing a Multi-Point Inspection each time you bring in the vehicle for regular maintenance, as the regular maintenance period is the best way to spot potential issues before they lead to problems. Every 15,000 Miles or 18 Months At the 15,000-mile mark, you will already be bringing in your vehicle to have the engine oil and filter replaced and the tires rotated, but this 15,000-mile mark is also the time to replace the in-cabin microfilter. This component is your car's air purification filter, and it tends to become clogged with allergens, dust, pollutants, and other particles over time. Skipping this crucial replacement could mean dealing with allergic reactions inside your vehicle. If you tend to do a lot of off-roading or drive in dusty conditions, you should have your in-cabin microfilter changed more often. Premium Maintenance Upgrades Infiniti owners can also opt for Premium Maintenance Upgrades, which include services such as lubricating locks and hinges, replacing the radiator cap, replacing drive belts, inspecting all lights, replacing wiper blades, and more. Your technician can offer these services at any of your regularly scheduled maintenance appointments. Keeping your Infiniti in the best shape is easy when you keep to a manufacturer-suggested maintenance schedule. Start planning your next appointment at our Sawgrass Infiniti service center today.

Florida's Spectacular Weekend Getaways

Florida residents reap the benefits of a state that's warm and sunny all year. The beautiful weather and beaches bring with them lots of tourists, which sometimes means that residents need a weekend getaway from the usual crowded beaches and streets. Get out of the Ft. Lauderdale traffic and away from the Miami tourists; fill up your Infiniti's tank and plan a road trip to one of these beautiful destinations for the coming weekend. more Islamorada For a Keys getaway that doesn't have overcrowded beaches, Islamorada is the place to be. Drive to one of the six islands that make up the village of Islamorada. Coral reefs keep the beach water from having waves or being deep, but when you're already from Florida the beach isn't always the biggest draw for a new vacation spot. Islamorada has some of the best seafood restaurants you'll find, because it's a major sportfishing destination, so be ready to chow down when you get there. Little Gasparilla Island If you're up for a longer road trip from the Coral Springs area in your Infiniti, head to the Gulf Coast, specifically the Gulf Island Chain. Little Gasparilla Island is a tiny and extremely secluded island. Find a luxurious vacation rental and enjoy a weekend on an island that doesn't even have traffic. Don't worry about being far from civilization; Boca Grande and the mainland are very close by. Delray Beach Between Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale is Delray Beach, a beautiful stretch of sand that's much quieter than the two tourist destinations bracketing it. Delray Beach has spectacular dunes, sea grapes galore, and lots of space on the sand to stretch out on your towel under your umbrella. The town is small and chic, with local flair and some great restaurants. Everglades Safari Park Drive to Everglades Safari Park to spend a day or two seeing the animals of the Everglades and learning about the fascinating habitat and ecosystem. Take an airboat ride, see some alligators, or sign up for a private tour. Stay on either side of the Everglades each night, either in a Miami resort on the Atlantic side, or on Marco Island on the Gulf side, which boasts several luxury resorts. Warm Mineral Springs Visiting the springs for Floridians is like going to the top of the Empire State Building for New Yorkers: one of those touristy things nobody gets around to. Though the springs may seem like a tourist trap, taking a weekend visit and staying in a surrounding resort means a weekend of pampering and luxury. Warm Mineral Springs is located in North Port, and it's the warmest of the springs in Central Florida, which means it's great for swimming, even in winter. Take a break from life for a weekend, and take advantage of some of the beautiful destinations Florida has to offer. This popular vacation state isn't all tourists, so you can still find a quiet resort, a beautiful patch of beach, or a fun time at the Everglades. Pack up your beach gear, hop in your Infiniti, and get driving!
